I AM A JESUS FREAK

No one understands me
like my Lord Jesus Christ
He has taken all my bad from me
and has brought sunshine into my life

Jesus says "that I am special"
my gifts come in love from him
when Jesus became my best friend
a new life for me there was to begin

No more days of loneliness
or searching for my selfworth
no more days of dealing alone
with life's pains and hurts

For the Lord is always with me
every second of everyday
to teach me,guide me and show me
the truest of His Holy ways

When I still fall and stumble
along life's rocky roadway
Jesus walks before me
clearing a smooth and peaceful way


I honor Him in obedience and truth
for the love He shares with me
each day I hope to be molded further
in the likeness of His image for all to see

I know that some grow tired
of the words of Christ I speak
but through His love all I am offered
compells me joyfully to express that I am a Jesus freak

And day by day I will follow
the plan that is mapped out for me
by the hands of my Jesus Christ
for all the world to see

So I shall write and write
till I can't write no more
that Jesus is the truth light and way
for all who answers when he knocks on their door

Then even if only one person
seeks out the truth of my Lord's story
I'll know then that I have given
my Savior His true Honor Praise and Glory
