SERENDIPITY

You are a God
of serendipity,
my Lord of constant
surprises!

I find myself of
late,
teetering on the
edge
of expectant delight.
The delicious sense,
that surprises
are lurking round
the bend,
ready to flower
into blossoms sweet
unfolding wonder.

I feel like a child
on Christmas Eve.
A bride on her
wedding morn.

The wonder of
discovery
that Springs first
rose,
is suddenly in
full bloom.

Thank You my Lord,
for Gracing me so,
that joy fills my
spirit.
For no apparent reason,
except,
that I know
You love me!

Dear Ellie,
Anyone who thinks of God as cold, dull or boring, have never quite come to have a proper perspective of Him.  His world that He Created is constantly turning up surpises-and in many ways shows that He is a God that can laugh and is possessed of Humor.  Thank you for your wonderful reminder!  David

Ellie,
I confess, I had to look up serendipity in my dictionary, and you hit the BULLS EYE!
Our GOD does have the faculty for making fortunate, He delights us in so many unexpected ways, and so often! Your poem speaks of His gratious provisions for us and you have done this SO WELL! Thanks!
