Another new day,
What will it bring,
A smile to my face,
A song to sing?

Or shall I be sad,
Visited by sorrow,
By news of a friend,
Who won't see tommorrow?

Whatever my path
Whether joy or grief,
I'll look to JESUS
In firm belief.

Knowing, assured,
That HE will guide,
Whatever occurs,
HE'll be by my side!

Brother,  I like this this is simple, basic and built upon a concrete attitude set in the Lord, open to the challenges, adventures and experiences of living the Christ filled life--Very Good!  I think you have done very well with this one, Love ya,  David

Amen Dennis. Sometimes tears humbles us and allows the presence of the Lord to minister to our souls. Jesus is awesome, comes the joy
and a song! Loved this poem. The very thought of Jesus, each morning, lets Him know His place in our hearts. marcy

What a great prayer of faithful submission.  I really needed this, as I realized I usually pray for a day of happiness.  In other words, please give me my way, rather than the beauty of yours....give me whatever You will, Lord.  Thank you.

Sandgrain has expressed what I am feeling about this. Thank you from me as well.

God Bless!

Hey Dennis, where ya been?

I too like this much. Any kind of day be thankful for it, even if you don't know why.
But I do, because Jesus is the Living Word!
