MY MOM (THE GIFT OF LOVE)

Jesus I come before you
thanking you on bended knee
you gave me "MY MOM" the gift of love
to always love and take care of me

The Woman who craddled me tenderly
as she rocked me in her arms
telling me of her love always
and how she'd keep me safe from harm

The Angel who cared for my bruises
as I fell along life's way
yes my sweet loving Mother
I honor you on this special day

What words can be spoken
to express the love that lives in my heart
you have always been there for me
whether we were near or far apart

If every I was lonely
I would just close my eyes and see You
telling me how much You loved me
and that there was nothing We couldn't get through

I remember when you told me of Jesus
how I was a gift to You from Him
and that this house I would be raised in
would serve Jesus and be free of sin

Well Jesus there is no better time then now
to thank you for my loving Mother
the greatest gift you chose to give me
for Her Love is like none other

She has walked with me through my hard times
She has rejoiced with me when all has gone well
She has given of Her Self to me always
My Mom The Greatest Story I Could Every Tell

So today I take this time
to honor each and every Mother here
for no value can be placed on Your Worth
because your Special Love is Priceless and so Dear

Yes each child reading this today
turn to your Mom if she is here with you
tell her how much you love her
and that you appreciate all She goes through

And for  those whos Moms have gone to Jesus
close your eyes and say a prayer
that Jesus Honors the Special in Her
for all the years She gave you Her tender Loving and Care

So let us all take a moment to reflect
and remember that GOD is LOVE
know that HE created MOTHERS in that Image
giving us one of His Greatest GIFTS from Above
