Today I've found
I've lost my mind!
My glasses are gone
too!
No, there on my head.
At least my hair
can see
the ceiling more
clearly!
Now my keys are gone,
nowhere to be found.
Thankfully my car
is still out front.

As long as I never
lose
my sense of humor
God's given me,
everthing else can go
to you know where!!!

Ellie,
What you are describing here sounds like you've been spying on me!!
I hope I haven't infected you with my some-timers.  One of the advantages of getting older is that we have a a heart so full of pleasant memories, some things, even more recent things may get crowded out--don't look at it as a nusance, but an indication of a cup overflowing!!A Fun Read Here!

Ellie, Now I know for sure we are kindred spirits. I loose my keys and glasses on the average twice a day. One time my son was so tired of looking for keys he bought me one of those key finder clappers, but that contraption didn't last long. If you couldn't laugh at yourself, what would you do for entertainment?!!! LOL

Returning home last week, my husband asked if I had my house keys.  "Sure do" I responded shaking them, but when I came to the door, found it still standing open, so didn't need them after all.    Cute verse.

Hehehehe Ellie - How'd I miss this????!!!! It's wonderful...I can never find my glasses, usually it's because I'm wearing them.  We won't even talk about the car keys!!!!  And the mind has been gone so long, I don't even miss it anymore. I loved this one.... Bonnie

Are you sure we haven't met somewhere????

oh my dear my dear my dear, the joys of getting older.  Ive not only lost my mind and always lose my keys, but I have have also lost my figure, lost my perfect eyesight, my height (it's amazing how you shrink when you get older), lost the natural color of my hair and I lost the unwrinkley skin I used to have.  My husband, well, lets just say he not only lost his mind but his hair as well lol.  You are right though, as long as we have our sense of humor and the many other gifts the good Lord has given us, we will all be fine!

Ellie~
This is sooooooo sad ! (*snickering*)
I just bet the locksmith loves you.
Not to mention the Optometrist.
And you'd be a big hit at Lenses Are Us !
And the pharmacist that sells you that
hair growing formula !

Now if I can just remember
where Ron put that 'Submit Reply' key ....
