In the middle of the storm, I felt God smile
All my fears faded, if only for a while
Though it was dark and stormy, the tempest winds flew
In that darkest moment, I knew I'd make it through

I felt that peaceful smile, shine down from above
All in an instant, I was flooded with His love
The storm was not yet over, had a fight ahead
I had to take hold of, the Bible words I'd read

Remember that He loves you, He shall never leave
Cast your cares upon Him, and in His name believe
He's the breath that I breathe, the Rock of Salvation
He's the Lord Almighty, God of all creation

So when your tempest hits, and darkness is around
Know that God is with you, and feel His peace deep down
Know that you can make it, that God will keep you strong
The darkness will fade and the Light will come along

Thank you Devine for the challenge and the help!

It seems each day, I have a new favorite from a poet. This is GREAT! The meaning, the truth. It leaves me speechless, searching for words to say. I love it and it blessed me. Another Masterpiece, Marcy

OH, Beck; "You're the breath that I breathe"
this is wondrous and I'm awed at the faith you have and the beauty of your gift of poetry. So lovely. He never leaves us nor forsakes us. "for I am with you always". Thank you for this. Ellie

Rebecca,
The quality of your poetic works is consistently excellent. And this one shines along with your best. The clarity, it's form,
it's beautiful message of hope and courage reach out as a searchlight to the troubled, with reassurance of one who has personally experienced the truth of which she speaks.  BRAVO!!!

Marcy thank you for such loving words! I am always amazed when it touches someone.

Jesse, thank you for taking the time to read and respond! You're easy to get along with
Was great talking with ya, we'll have to do it again!

Thank you Ellie! I'm just awed by God!

David you're too kind in your excellence remark. As for the experience, I guess I have been through many a tempest storm.
Sometimes that is the hardest of times to reach out and hang on    If we do, He surely gets us through.
As I look back, well, I'm here and I've got through every storm only by the Grace of God!

Thank you, all of you and God bless you!
