There are times
when I feel
clearly,
Your Will being
done,
and still do.

I know that Your
Will always
is that I love
those You've given
to me.
Another certainty,
is gratitude.
Forever am I grateful
for my loved ones.
Grateful for all
blessings,
the food I eat,
the air I breathe.
Countless blessings
each day.

Grateful for this
peace I feel
as I sit here
with springs late
afternoon sun
dappling on my face
through the flowering
dogwood tree.
Listening to the water
bubbling in the fountain.

I was going to write
a poem
about the confusion
I felt
concerning my job.
Now I'm clueless
as to why?
Your Peace and Love
have captured me,
once again.

Hi ellie, Again, isn't God awesome!! You speak for me too. Let's just be thankful He knows us and what we need, when we need it.
Loved this poem.  May God keep blessing you and you bless us.  Marcy

so rouching. i know the feeling.
when we concern ourselves with our problems to the point we are lost about what to do next, we neglect to see the answer. but when we do ask for his help, we find the answer so easily, or else he boosts our faith and our worries are lost. great poem!

ellie,
That kind of peace passes all understanding, and you illustrated it so well! Nicely done!

Ellie,
Sometimes it's good to be "without a clue"-
That is when we let faith and trust take over in our lives-and allow the Lord to fight our battles. As the scriptures say,
"THEREFORE, LAYING ASIDE ALL MALICE,ALL DECEIT,HYPOCRISY,ENVY, AND ALL EVIL SPEAKING,AS NEWBORN BABES,DESIRE THE MILK OF THE WORD,THAT YOU MAY GROW THEREBY, IF INDEED YOU HAVE TASTED THAT THE LORD IS GRACIOUS." (I Peter 2:1-3)
Thank you for your precious example in this--I still have some more learning to do!

Dear Ellie - Isn't it something, the way He just takes our worries before we even know He's done it?  I just love the feeling of awe, when I realize I've forgotten all about what was bothering me.  As always another lovely poem to remind us of His goodness.  Bonnie

Just wrote one(not posted)concerning the half empty and half full glass.  You've said it so beautifully in this work.  Bless you.
