Dear Derrick; Is it any wonder that you are loved here? Jesus is present here, your poetry is wonderful and your replies to other poems have been heartfelt, warm, and sincere. I am so very glad that God has brought you to this Forum.
As for your age, us older folks {I'm the mother of 6, and grandmother of 3}, prefer to think of all of us here as ageless poets extraordinaire! Love, Ellie< !signature-->

Hello Derrick! So wonderful of you to put thanks in such beautiful verse. I am greatly honored as well as everyone else. I admire your ability to exude such grace at your age. This is a special place for all to share the heart of their own realities and fantasies. With the seeking of spirit and guidance we sort of all come together in his name. That is the way he wants it I believe. I appreciate you so much and your wonderful comments. God bless you and all you do. You are a very spriritual young man. Which makes you wise beyond the boundaries of years! I look forward to your friendship and your poetry!
Sincerely,
Regina aka Rwood

Derrik, nothing warms the heart like a poem from the heart! You are more than welcome, you write such wonderful poetry! We're blessed to have you among us

I'm glad you've found a home and friendship here! That's what it's all about, and the sharing of poetry of course

Our background and circumstances may have influenced who we are, but we are responsible for who we become.

Derrick,
I had no idea you were a teenster, I have teen age boys at home. I would have never guessed, I've gleened much wisdom from your work. Your tribute is kind, and worded very well. You are a tribute to your namesake son of man. Well done.
