THE MIGHTY SWORD!

Do we realize
what a mighty sword
we weild?
A sword that can
change a life,
or encourage a soul
in despair.

A sword encrusted
with precious gems.
Gems of power.
The power to bring,
hope, faith and
love.

This Arthurian sword
given not to kings
to slay the enemy,
or to knight the brave.
Sted given to the poet,
who loves the Lord.

The sword a lowly pen,
is mightier than
kings and kingdoms.
Tis given Power by
the King of Kings!

Great read!  Like the tongue, the pen can up-lift or cut.  Thank you for being so uplifting with your pen.

Wow! Ellie,
Very powerful! You must be using the same sword that King David used. I love this poem. Thank-you.

ELLIE,
This is a wonderful Testimony to the marvelous power of Influence that we have within our grasp as we use our words to built & uplift humanity.  I would not want to change places with any Potentate.  The Pen as the Poets Sceptre is plenty good for me. This is a wonderful poem,  Thank you,  David

ellie, Wow! This could go very well with deleeme's "Billboard".
"Do we realize
what a mighty sword
we weild?"
Thank you ellie, for the mighty sword (you)
weild to us through this poem, full of wisdom and food for meditation, as we seek
all ways to serve our Lord.
Bless you,  Marcy

Oh, Ellie, I love this, it brought tears to my eyes! To be used by the King of Kings doing something that I love to do is such a precious gift to be given!

Ellie how I love this! I am left speechless.
I really don't know what to say to describe my thoughts.
