Our Walk

When we  follow where He  leads,
each walk varies among the saints.
Some seek and find more often,
others clinging, almost faint.

Still others often grounded
satisfied with their run,
resting in the shadows
until their race is won.

Others hungry and deliriously
just can not get enough!
Calling out in prayer to Him
with humility and love.

This type I love to be around
partaking of the feast,
the fellowship with the saints,
where the Lord is serving meat.

Isn't it great to be among the Saints? Lovely poem. We are among the Saints here on this forum, as we inspire each other to greater heights and a deeper understanding of His Love for us. Thanks for being one of them! Ellie

Marcy,
Our circumstances vary, our personalities differ, our strengths and weaknesses are individualized--but our need is still the same--We need Jesus. and He can help us one and all--if we will but truly seek him.  How beautiful are those possessed of a spirit of true holiness & humble earnestness of soul!
Thank you for some lovely thoughts, David

with such a diverse number of saints, heaven will be a truly marvellous place!
you have done well to define the implication of "personal" salvation. i thouroughly enjoyed reading this fragment of poetic truth. thank you for sharing.

I just appreciate your tolerance of my inability to put my heart on paper. You folks are just so sensitive that you see what I could not write. Sometimes my words are misunderstood, so please remember to look beyond the written words of mine to see a heart of fears and failures but with a complete heart of love for Jesus. Bless you all.  Marcy

Ohhh Marcy -  Your sweet heart shows through in everything you write, whether it's your poetry or your replies.  Your goodness is just always shining through, as is your love for our Lord, and what a glorious "ability" that is.   Bonnie

Dear Marcy,
This is so spiritually fulfilling. So good to know when someone is always seaching for the light of their salvation. I can't ever get enough, say enough, be enough, and so on. I appreciate you so much.
Sincerely,
Regina

Alle' I think you do a great job putting your heart on paper! You certainly did a fine job of it here

Our background and circumstances may have influenced who we are, but we are responsible for who we become.
