Two year olds love to
feel their independance,
but they don't let mommy
out of their sites for
long.
Inately they know
their total dependance
on her.
Confidence builds
each time they find her
always nearby,
and they experience
her constant love
and care.

I, my dearest Jesus,
have turned into your
little babe.
I'm reduced to feeling
that total dependance
on your care.
My thoughts stray to
old fears,
and I run back to You
for comfort.
The wounds open,
a glimpse of pain,
and I race into Your
Arms,
for healing and Grace.

St. Paul tells us
to pray
constantly.

This little one that
I've become,
knows that she needs
You
like she needs air
to breath.

And so my confidence
builds,
as each turning to You,
finds Your Love
constant,
Your Grace ever present,
and I am secure
in Your Arms.

Hi Ellie. Thanks so much for such sweet words. I missed you too. Believe me...I've been running to the Lord too. I get close to him in gardening. You've inspired me today! This poem touches the heart of where I've been!
Love,
Regina

Nice place to be, and there is always room for one more, he certainly does have a lap big enough for us all. Wonderful poem.

ellie, Remember when we don't "feel Him", but know He is there, we are growing.

oh how i love jesus! i am a babe, and he is my comfort, my confidence, my security.
i, being without carnal parents, look to him as my keeper. he is loving, kind, merciful,
patient. all the traits i would desire in an earthly parent. isn't he wonderful? how i enjoy the innocence he renders me, even when i am at fault, he says "it's ok, i still love you." with a father like him, who needs parents of a corrupt nature? your poem reminds me of how lost and afraid i would be without him. great job.
