Lilies line the old brick walk,
And the stairway into the church,
Ivy covers one corner,
At the other, a mighty white birch.
The lawn is now a plush carpet of green,
Sweet hyacinths freshen the air,
A glorious sunrise over the hill,
Lord, Your presence is everywhere.
The stained glass windows are gleaming,
Showing off an angel in flight,
The steeple seems reaching for heaven,
The shimmering cross, a glorious sight.
Whispering hymns from the organ,
Float softly out the door,
As do the choir voices,
As they sing Your praises once more.
This truly majestic house of Yours,
Is now ready for Easter Day,
As spring is showing Your re-birth,
In a most magnificent way.

What a beautiful inviting picture you've made, soft organ tones and praising voices flowing in the heavenly scent of hyacinths.   Thank you so much for this lovely work, and Happy Easter to you and yours.

So beautiful ... I could almost hear
the church bell ringing.

Happy Easter to you and yours.
