Our Father in heaven asks:
"How did you get so angry,
that you hearts are filled
with hate"?
"How did you get so angry,
that you wanted only
to kill"?

Could it be that for
generations
the hatred filtered
down?
The sins of the fathers'
ever marching on?

Vicious cycle of anger,
vicious cycle of hate.

A heart that's empty
of love,
gets filled with hate
instead.

When will this cycle end?
Who will break this chain
of anger?
Who will break this chain
of hate?

It only takes a prayer,
and the courage to change
a little.
So that children can grow
in love,
and the cycle broken
at last.

Well written

Parents are so crucial to the childrens way of living.

By their fruits you shall know THEM.

ELLIE,
Unless we are sensitive to the grave moral attituded & ill in our society- and start asking pointed questions as to it;s source and it's solution, we will always be plagued.  Even if "that's the way it's always been done"  can we not choose better- for ourselves and the kids sake?  Thank you for this timely message & addressing of the issue with positive resolution.  David

Ellie - What a wonderful job you have done in meeting this challenge.  'Tis sad that such thing should even have to be written, but you have very clearly shown how to try to reverse the problems.  If nothing else, at least for the kids, they are our hope and our future, and it's so sad to have them afraid in this world.  I pray your words touch many. God bless ya Ellie! You've a heart of Gold!!

Everyone's too busy for our kids today...too many working, too long hours. No time, it's become a "me" world.  I've posted a link to this poem in Announcements for Tori.

She was having problems accessing the poems in here, and I don't know why. But I am trying to put them all in a place she can get to them. Thank you Ellie!

Thanks Ellie! A little love goes a long way. So many are unloved. Put down and betrayed. We gotta hang on to God's way!! Wonderful poem.
Sincerely,
Rwood

Ps. Thanks for e-mail..Your heart is golden. I wrote back under redshoe.

Your words are so sad, and yes so right
Why is it so hard
To understand?
That which kills
Is already dead
Before they ever
Pick up and bear arms

Yet instead of looking at this statement in a sad way,  we must, each of us lead by example and do something to make difference,  help to clean up their streets and school's, Try to teach them what "Pride" really means, make them feel safe, hold them for they are children, and  hold our Country accountable, Churches and other organsations accountable as well, we all must pitch in get in the trenches and get our hands dirty  .. and by doing so maybe just maybe one child will connect with someone who really cares about them and touches their life, and one child may live~ to find the path to True Love~

I would love to have your poem with me at the March on Washington DC Please join in on what could be a start of a soulition !
