My hand holds this pen,
as the words fill the
page,
and that is all that
I do.

For have I not surrendered
all to you, my Lord?
Therefore, as I am Your
instrument,
so too is this pen.

Do I not pray
"Your Will be done"?
So too Your Words be
done,
as Your Grace flows
across each page.

I have asked to make me
a blessing to others.
So I have faith
that Your Love
and Your Grace
will always be
the ink that fills
this poets pen.

Yanno? He answered your prayers my dear Ellie!  If but one person can be touched, to make a difference with the words we write. What a blessing it is!

"as I am your instrument, so too is this pen"
what wonderful words of service, dedication, consecration to aworthy task and endeavor-  You are helping to answer your own prayer as you allow Him to use you to reach out and please other by your God given talents and abilities. The analogy is lovely-the attitude is heaven--Girl you got it goin' on!

Hey! You and your words have touched me deeply. Such a blessing you are! Missed you too. Been so busy. My heart is heavy...but getting lighter by the minute. Got a lot of catching up to do. I pray the ink never runs dry!
Sincerely

Wonderful faith as you hold the pen and let the Holy Spirit dictate the words to your poem.  Love it.  Marcy
