Here is one of those topics
That we might tend to avoid,
But looked more in a Spiritual light
It is something to be enjoyed.
So I put such a spin on it
To afford you a different view,
So that when you think of the I.R.S.
You'll welcome such for you.

I nvincible
R escuing
S hepherd
He came lost sheep to save,
The I.R.S. from Heaven
For you heaven's pathway paved.
His sheep to His voice listen
Each by their name He calls,
This wonderful Loving Shepherd
Have you given to Him your all?

I nfinite
R edeeming
S avior
Such is Christ the LORD,
And as our I.R.S.
He's surely much adored.
Possessing the Power to do all things
Yet meek as a Gentle Lamb,
Willing to be our Sacrifice
He who is the Great "I AM."

I nvisible
R ighteous
S overeign
Now from Heaven He reigns,
'Til the last enemy's defeated
Because death He overcame.
This I.R.S. is higher than all principalities
Yet by his royal summon
It's the I.R.S. and me!

I nviting
R oyal
S eeker
He truly cares for you,
This I.R.S. won't threaten
And take more than what's due.
Tho' sin is very taxing
Death, sin's price must be paid,
He made, a grand exemption
For His Life down, he freely laid!

If Jesus is my I.R.S.
Then I can be His too!
I llumined
R eady
S ervant
Set for His will to do.
May it be my endeavor
For all the world to see,
I'm an I.R.S for Him--
And He's The I.R.S. for me!

I t's
R eally
S urprising
So few advantage take,
Of the that grand deduction
For their own soul's sake!
Please make your application
Before the "dead" line's due,
Don't shun this I.R.S.
Make it the I.R.S. and You!

David~
Well, I liked the poem.
Inspiring it is indeed.
But no matter how you spell it
I.R.S. stands for

I-finitesimal
R-emainder
S-ent

David, I.R.S.,
What will you think of next?
A very good transformation changing some dreaded letters into something more readily cherished!
Good Job! Dennis :^)

You never cease to amaze me with your wonderful creativity! I love your version of I.R.S. much better than the government version!
