I had the most amazing day ... I just wanted to share, for you see, days like this for me, are so very rare. Moments of complete contentment ... don't happen much. Not with all the work to do, and all the stress and such. Today I woke quite early ... and the day was looking fine, the clouds were kissing the sky and the sun shared it's shine. All else were sleeping and I had the PC for my very own ... so of course I headed to Passions ... my second home. Sunday mornings are my fav, everyone's posting and replying. I love to read your words ... I cant get my fill, there's no denying. With my cup of hot raspberry tea and a bagel, I got in my favorite chair ... and somehow 4 hours later ... I was STILL there. I didn't get my dishes done, or my laundry either ... too darn bad ... Sundays are for taking a breather. I read so many poems ... I think I went blind ... then I went back for more ... seeing who new I could find. Along the way ... friends dropped in, with an E-mail or two ... I even talked to one of my favorite poets by ICQ. So many special moments ... in this day I found, When I'm in Passions ... I know I'm heaven bound. I laughed at my favorite jesters ... Lord, I laughed until I cried. I think I broke my own record -- for how many times I replied. I got a precious Poetry E-card, from a very special friend, and in return ... to her, one I did send. All the time I was reading one perfect poem after another, I believe I could sweetly drown in your words ... poetic sisters and brothers. I found a couple old friends, who had been gone a day, a week or two ... when you leave us ... don't ya know, we really miss you. I met some new poets who have such style and grace, and then there are my MOST favorites, who daily put a smile on my face. I read several poems that moved me to tears ... and found many others I will remember for years. This place is truly magic ... I am so much better for its gifts. You heal my heart and my tired spirit ... you always lift. I thank you and God for this place every single day ... for, it is in this place ... I have finally found my way. janet marie TO my sweet Ellie, thank you for touching my heart today. To all my old friends here in SJ, I know I have not posted here in a long time, but I come here and read your words almost daily. I miss all of you, there just arent enough hours in the day now, so I have limited myself to only posting in open 6 as opposed to all the forums, as I use to when I first came here. (I had spread my self a little thin LOL) But you all are in my thoughts. Dovey and David, you too.  take care all, with love and respect, janet marie ...every moment of every day... your still with me in every way. every poem and song... every rhyme and verse... your still here...like a beautiful curse. janet marie |

Dear Janet, I have been missing you around here, but have been seeing you elsewhere on Passions, where you are also loved and cherished by all counts. Thank you for this delightfully reflective poem of the great place which Passions has become in our lives- the meeting/ greeting place of so many wonderful, caring and talented people!
