APRIL  SNOW
I awoke this morning
to a delightful
fairyland
of crystal white
wonder
on every tree.
It was breathtaking!

The budding trees
were hidden
beneath snow laden
boughs
reminding me of the
joy of spring.

All that snow
bringing winter back
for a brief last
kiss.
Made my heart ever more
grateful
that it really is
spring.

Just as the fear
will briefly return
and remind me
to be thankful for
the Gift
of His precious
Peace.

Such beauty seen through your words Ellie!
You have such a gift of helping others see that beauty. We too had a bit of snow, only traces are left now.
I was actually mumbling about it, instead of being thankful for it. Though I did think of the birds that I saw getting their food from the ground as it was melting, because it chased the worms from underneath. I was thinking, I bet they're glad it snowed. I was too that I didn't have to shovel anything.

Ellie - Once again you have painted a pretty little picture with your words, I could see it all so clearly.....We had snow too, and the primrose were poking out from under it as it melted and it was just beautiful....as is your poem.....Bonnie

God is full of suprises, isn't He?  Just as we werer getting used to the ideas of Springtime- He throws a curve and send some snow! Our God is one who can change things- but Changes not-so we can count on h+Him no matter what changes occur around us.  Thank foe your poem Ellie,   David
