“The Kingdom Of God is inside you, and all around you…”

Purity in form of the snow-white dove-
Innocence in eyes of a doubtless child,
Consideration in outstretched palm-
Wisdom in the unwavering mind…

“I’m not in a house made of wood nor stone…”

No building of grandness or rubble-
Will ever influence the heart of God.
Walls cannot create, nor dictate-
The pureness of your believing soul…

“Split a piece of wood, and I’ll be there…”

That aching wound begging release-
On bending knee…believe in me.
An open heart will reprimand-
Of fallen strength, and fallen man…

“Lift a stone, and there you’ll find me…”

Awaiting patiently, Timelessly-
Forgiveness…you shall see.
Come raw and open to me-
No longer shall you grieve…

Open arms can be the most fragile in the world...

Well hun, you certainly bring justice to the unjustified passage.  Your last stanza speaks very loudly, here.  I know how much this piece meant to you - and I think you've done wonderful with it.  Indeed, "Walls cannot create, nor dictate."

This is fantastic! I love it, I love it. Please if you would, when this falls to back pages, have Michael move into spiritual. I'd very much appreciate it, if you'd share with them also.

you made it feel like time was standing still...and I felt fascination...
then you turned and smiled in my direction...
and my heart...gave me away.

Shows another demension of your incredible writing talent.

Rebecca and I thought this was a wonderful poem with some thought provoking referance to the "unjustified passage".  We both felt it should be shared her in Spiritual so it has been moved here from open.

The poetry here flowed with delicate majesty!  The writing itself was grand and worthy of the subject matter:  The Kingdom of God.  Rarely do we find both combined as a double edged sword.  We admire one or the other when we see them,  either piousity or poetry.  But when they are both genuine and become one flesh, look out!

I especially liked the part about buildings of stone not moving God, for he dwells in temple made without hands.  Look forward to more and perhaps your thoughts on some of my poetry soon.   Thanks!
