Except the LORD build the Home,
Those who work, labor for nought,
Except the LORD keep the City,
The watchman won't be what he ought.

You waste your time rising up early,
And also while staying up late,
For you'll find the bread of sorrows,
There upon your chosen plate.

The LORD giveth to his beloved,
Sweet and peaceful rest,
Those that put their trust in HIM,
Will certainly be blest!

You see, Children are a heritage,
Given by the LORD,
And the fruit of the womb,
What a blest reward!

Children are as arrows cherished,
In the hands of a mighty man,
And if they come in his youth,
They make his pleasure grand!

Many children as GOD has given,
Like a quiver with arrows fill,
Brings security and happiness,
In old age blessings come still!

Your children will defend you,
When foes attact your good name,
They are your blessings from the LORD,
They will not be ashamed!

Ah, very good. Glad to see you around again!
Be not ashamed of the gospel of Jesus, that's what comes to mind here. Thanks Dennis

Dennis; This is beautifully translated into poetry. As the mother of six, I only hear the lovely message of the blessing of each and every one. I love this!  Ellie

As your brother I know you are not only sharing with us a beautiful poetic rendition of Psalm 127, but you are also speaking from the richness of your own life's experience, having been blessed with 5 children, Triplets & Twins.  As always you have done a wonderful job puting this Psalm in verse, and I am always & forever PROUD of you.  Love,  David< !signature-->
