Dying
My grandma is dying
Crying
I am crying
Lying
Please tell me they're lying
Buying
Pretty flowers I'm buying
Dying
My grandma is dead

(this poem is deadicated to my grandma who passed away March 29th.  I love you Granny.)

Welcome Nikki!
I'm sorry to hear of your grandmother passing away and such a short time ago. It's never easy to lose those we love.
I shall make mention of you in my prayers. I hope you're doing alright?

I have a poem I would like to share with you, I read this at my Grandmothers funeral.

Author Unknown

God looked around His garden
And He found an empty place.
He then looked down upon this earth,
And He saw your tired face.
He put his arms around you
And lifted you to rest.
God's garden must be beautiful,
He always takes the best.
He knew that you were suffering,
He knew you were in pain.
He knew that you would never
Get well on earth again.
He saw that the road was getting rough
And the hills were hard to climb
So He closed your weary eyelids,
And whispered "Peace be thine."
It broke our hearts to lose you,
But you didn't go alone.
For part of us went with you
The day God called you home.
You left us beautiful memories,
Your love is still our guide,
And though we cannot see you,
You are always by our side.
Our family chain is broken,
And nothing seems the same,
But as God calls us one by one,
The chain will link again.

Dear Nikki; I feel your pain and your loss. My grandmother was my best friend and when she died, it was horrible. Over the years since, I found that the love she had for me has always stayed alive in my heart. Ellie

Dear Nikki,
It is never easy to give up a dear loved one, but at times we simply have no chose than to trust them to the care of a mighty loving God, who can care for them better than anyone here on earth.  Your loss right now seems so devastating, but cherish and hold on to those precious memory of her, which will sweeten your thoughts and may help give you guidance in time to come.
God Bless you in your loss,   David

I am so sorry for you loss Nikki. I too recently lost my grandmother. We were very close and talked a great deal everytime we were able. I understand how difficult it is to lose someone close to you. But what helps me cope are the memories of how my grandmother always made me laugh. She was a real character. I cherish those memories and whenever I think of her, I always smile.

Bless you Nikki, this is a wonderful poem.

I extend my condolences, Nikki .... I lost my grandmother many years ago .... and after the initial grief, I have carried her in my heart ever since ...
The memories never fade and, like Jonas, they bring me many smiles ...
God Bless you ...
