Looking up at the gathering clouds,
In the mottled, baby blue sky,
Between the white and wooly fluff,
Dark ebony plumes caught my eye;
For behind them glittering sunbeams,
Stretched themselves to the ground,
They looked like a stairway to heaven,
Sweet peace was there to be found.
I could almost see God's widespread arms,
Embracing this mystical view,
His tender hands surrounded by doves,
As the warmth of His love shone through.
Raindrops started a graceful dance,
Glimmering beams turned to shadows of grey,
Yet nothing could take the serenity,
Found in this image He'd shown me today.

Dear Bonnie; Only a serene and peaceful soul could possibly write such beauty and paint such a wondrous picture as you have done. Love, Ellie

Bonnie, I'm envious of your writing. What imagery you use! This is quite a stunning piece. I love it, it's so calm and serene, and wonderful

Bonnie,
Are you sure that your pin is not a paintbrush instead, for you sure painted a lovely picture-giving special signicance which all of us from time to time have experienced seeing( but not so percieving).
Thank you for sharing this precious moment of Spiritual awareness with us.  David

The only missing from this masterpiece is the frame!
