Suddenly Joseph could not longer contain
His emotions
He cried out
For his household to leave his presence
So there was one one except
He and his brothers
When he made himself known to them
Yet he wept so loudly
That the Egptians heard him
And Pharaoh's household heard him also.

Joseph said to his brothers
"I am Joseph!
Is my father still living?"

The brothers were unable to answer
For fear
Of his presence.

Then Joseph said to his brothers
"Come close to me."
As he held out his arms
"I am your brother Joseph.
The one you sold into Egypt
Do not be distressed
Do not be angry with yourselves
For selling me here,
Because it was to save lives
That God sent me ahead of you
The harm you intended me
God has intended
Unto you for good!"

Abused
Wronged
Treated Unfairly
Unjustly accused
Persecuted
Sold for a farthing
Even left for dead
What Satan intended for harm
God intended for good.
All things work together
For good
To the glory of God
For those who love the Lord.

For the rest of the story, go to Genesis 46, and read how God protected them during the rest of the famine. As you think back on the story, think of how Joseph's role was much like the role that Jesus took to save mankind. The hardships he endured here on earth were meant for our good, and our salvation.

Dear Stepsong,
Thank you for what you have done. You did a beautiful job. In this last one you really captured the essence of God's power, to turn what appeared to be a really bad situation into something as powerful as the authority given Joseph.
"What Satan intended for harm
God intended for good.
All things work together
For good
To the glory of God
For those who love the Lord."

Again, what a fantastic job you did. Thanks
as I shall now run copies and staple this story together to read to my Grandchildren.

God Bless you,
Marcy

Thank you for you kind remarks, I am glad that you thought this worthy of your time to read. For whatever purpose God laid this on my heart, he can accomplish it. I perhaps needed it the most. God Bless.

WOW! A big applause to you for carrying this through. An excellent ending. Josheph was a type of Christ, and it's just amazing at the things God can do. Excellent job! I enjoyed every bit of it!

Septsong--This is truly a GRAND FINALE to a monumental undertaking on your part to share these wonderful truths with us--and you did an excellent job to crystalize on the main point and tie it as typical of the Great work of Christ on our behalf--Truly God meant & means it for our GOOD to bless us if we will let He.
God bless you & thank You,   David
