I remember so well the day Mom left,
A glorious spring afternoon,
The angels came and took her home,
But for me, it was much too soon.
I was the youngest and only daughter,
The three boys and I made four,
We needed her in so many ways,
When God called and opened the door.
A few years later, my brother left,
He was gone, by his own hand,
I pray he went through those pearly gates,
To this day.....I just don't understand.
A couple years more and I lost Dad,
It was cancer that took him from me,
I know Mom and Jimmie were waiting,
But it was getting harder to see,
Why everyone was leaving,
Going to their new home above,
There was so much I wasn't ready for,
And oh, how I still needed their love.
A few months ago, another one gone,
My oldest brother had died,
He was only fifty seven years old,
And though I knew where he was, I still cried.
I'm sure there was a reunion,
In the heaven's the night he went home,
The four of them in that glorious place,
Together, forever to roam,
Through the fields of golden flowers,
Where there are no more harsh stings,
Where they are wrapped in His warm, loving light,
Where they have each been given their wings.
And each night I look to the Heavens,
As I whisper my silent prayer,
I hope they catch the love I send,
These angels of mine, up there.

You are so lovely in your tribute to those close to your heart. I know they must feel lively in their spirit listening to you. It is so hard to understand, but you accept this in the most loving way. Beautiful Bonnie! Thank you so much for sharing and caring.
Sincerely,
Rwood

Another lovely poem, borne out of the experience of many departings and seperations of important people in your life.  It is to some sense a cause for sadness, but as you have done, your positive thoughts  help encourage and bless you.  The longer one lives, the more they have invested (personally) in the realms of eternity--so this life loses it's pull and appeal, and the draw of the Heavenly divine becomes stronger & stronger.  God bless you, as you carry on your mission to completion.

That sure is hard to understand why they had been taken. You have a wonderful way of putting it, your poem is so very touching!
You shall one day be with them all again!

Some or all of your loved ones gave you an awful lot while here, as one doesn't  accept God's will when they're hurt, have such appreciation of life , the ability to be happy for them (hope and belief), without having been encouraged, strengthened and loved by them.  Their good lives on in you. Great work.  Thanks.

Dearest Bonnie; You have suffered so many losses and much heartache. Thank God for the beautiful faith that He has given you, and a wonderful gift of hope. This poem was a lovely composition, Bonnie. The thought that came to me was, all of your loved ones are in His arms praying for you! No wonder that you are such a beautiful person! Love, Ellie
