Never Beyond Your Reach

I may falter in my steps
Sometimes lose sight of you
I'm never beyond your reach
No matter what I do

At times I may lose my way
Forgetful you are there
Feeling bad about myself
Forgetting morning prayer

Many times as I might fall
You always remind me
No matter how far I go
You will always hear my plea

For now a comforting thought
Til I again forget
I can't fall beyond your reach
At least I haven't yet

So even though I falter
In thoughts or in my speech
I find comfort in knowing
I'm not beyond your reach

Inspired by a song from Rich Mullins

A beautiful, comforting offering!  We certainly are blessed knowing He never loses sight of us even when we lose sight of Him.  Thank you.  Very well done.

Thank you for the reminder with such beautiful expression.....

Lately I have been reaching out rather then forgetting.. and this poem really touched that spot and my awareness.

God Bless you and yours!

I Like it too, Rebecca!  We may sometimes be out of touch, But Jesus in His contance & power can never be outdistanced, a Lovely truth. Thank You,   David

Oh so true Rebecca! We could never fall beyond His reach! This is a beautiful expression of that!   It has done us good to spend time in His presence!

Devine He is! He always has his protection around you

Thank you Kim. I'm glad it touched you!

Thanks David!

Denise you've got it! We can never fall beyond His reach, what a comfort to know. Though sometimes we lose sight of that, but it's great to be reminded! It sure has done us good be in His presence!

Thank you, I'm glad you liked it, and found it of comfort!  I guess I was feeling distanced.  One of those songs you've heard over and over again, suddenly dawns on you with new meaning!

God Bless ya's!
