This is another great thinker! I found this today on the web...the author is unknown If Jesus Came Today... Would you have to change your clothes before you let Him in? Or hide some magazines, and put the Bibles where they'd been? Would you hide your wordly music and put some hymn books out? Could you let Jesus walk right in, or would you rush about? And I wonder...if the Saviour spent a day or two with you, Would you go right on doing the things you always do? Would you go right on saying the things you always say? Would life for you continue as it does from day to day? Would you take Jesus with you everywhere you go? Or would you change your plans for just a day or so? Would you be glad to have Him meet your closest friends? Or would you hope they'd stay away until His visit ends? Would you be glad to have Him stay forever, on and on? Or would you sigh with great relief when, at last, He was gone? It might be interesting to know the things that you would do, If Jesus came in person to spend some time with you. Author Unknown |

Dear Rebecca; How wonderful is this. I'd love it if He walked in the door right now. Uh oh, my perfectionism needs some work. All I could think of is, my house needs a good spring cleaning. I don't think He would care. I do need to work on my Martha, and be more of a Mary and just sit at His feet and learn and love. Thanks so much, love, ellie 02 |

You know rwood, you're right. He knows already, but it's funny ya don't really think of it, until you read something like this. Hmmn, made me think about yelling at the kids...and how other things are just more important in life. This one caught me, I have to say, I've been slacking! Time to pull those boot straps up and get cracking!! |
