The suns golden rays piercing the clouds,
With slivers of light shining through,
Cotton candy clouds of the palest pink,
With great patches of sky, so blue.
On the water there's not a ripple,
Just reflections of scenes from above,
Like an angel floating through heaven,
Followed closely by a downy white dove.
The lighthouse on the cove beckons,
As the sun settles in for the night,
In the sky a kalediscope of color,
Bursts forth in the days last light.
I close my eyes to recapture this view-
When I look again, it is gone,
Being replaced with radiant brilliance
Of the stars that will stay till dawn.
He paints this picture every night
To remove any doubt that He's here
And as I see His glorious artistry
I know I have nothing to fear.

AWESOME! I think this when I see it in the morning, and sometimes get a most beautiful sunset at evening.  What an awesome, colorful painting He gives us.  I absolutely love this! You brought it alive through some terrific imagery!  Thanks!

This is so very beautiful and true. God is the ultimate artist. It's so wonderful that you see and take time to experience what he has created for us. It's hard to put it into words, but you did it so lovely. I want to go and see it for myself! How inspiring.
Sincerely,
Rwood

Wow, you transferred His artestry into verse so elequently!!  The vibrancy of falls leaves has long had me saying how beautifully He paints for us.  Like you, seems I can't drink in the beauty enough.  Thank you for this painting as well as all your kind comments on my meager efforts.

Your words painted a picture, just like God created the lake you wrote about.  I saw it perfectly, and thank God for his artistry too. It reminded me of this picture a friend has of a tree, with the words ARTIST: GOD underneath.  Written so eloquently, my friend.  I wish i was there right now>...
