May I never tire
Of hearing the Good News,
Of a Loving Savior
Who for me, everything did lose.
Of His awesome Teachings
His Compassion and His Tears,
Of the One who alone can Save
And with His Grace fill my years.

May I ne'er grow weary
In reaching out for Him,
In sharing His Glad Message
Of Triumph over sin.
And may I ne'er forget that
There, but for God's Grace, go I,
When at times I might be tempted
Lowly others to despise.

And may my heart be tendered
And not grow hard and cold,
But in His Love be Humbled
Yet in my Faith --be bold.
To overcome Life's Obstacles
Helping others, along the way,
Being a Beacon in the night
Shinning on to Eternal Day.

Lord, Thanks for All the Blessings
Yes, by Your Hand received,
And thank you for the Word of Life
That I've come to believe--
Help Thou my weakness, forgive my sin
And guide me day by say,
Help me be the things I ought,
And Live your Word, I Pray!

absolutely!  I'm printing this for my friends - this poem/prayer should be on everyone's wall, so that in the morning they wake up and can be filled with confidence to do these things - cause that's what this poem did for me - gave me confidence that I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me!  Thanks David, for sharing yet another masterpiece!

Dear David; The Spirit of Jesus' Love and Grace flow through the gift of poetry that He has given you, like life giving waters to a parched land.
     "Helping others along the way,
being a beacon in the night,
      shining on to eternal day".
How beautifully you live these words!
You truly are an inspiration and a gift to us all. Thank you, dear friend.
                       Love, Ellie

Hi deleeme
"And may my heart be tendered
And not grow hard and cold,
But in His Love be Humbled
Yet in my Faith --be bold."
This is a prayer we should always keep in our hearts. Your words of love really touched me. I pasted a piece from your poem that is special to me, as Jesus tells us to go boldly before the Lord.
