"Delight thyself in the Lord,
and He will give you the
   desire of you heart".
You, Lord are the desire of
   my heart,
and how delightful is your
   Love.
The beautiful sunrise this
   morning.
The sweet "thank you, Mom",
for fixing a daughters'
   breakfast.
The cat chasing rainbows
   of light,
as they reflect off my watch,
while I sit here, writing
   this poem.
Just being here, in this
   moment,
with the sun on my face.
Present to the wonder
   of the moment,
and feeling your delightful
   Love all around,
and filling my spirit.

Ellie,
When we can see manifestations of God's goodness and Love in all things around us-surely we're seeing what God wants us to see, and it IS a great delight to the heart!
Thank you for sharing your simple yet precious moment,  God bless you,  David

I love it! I,too, have run out of adjectives of description for such beauty of one's love offering to the Lord. Your words of thankfulness for His presence all around you.
