(This is for Miriam and all others who are hurting in their hearts)

Jesus Was a "man of sorrows and acquainted with
          Grief,"
That's why in Him, we can find, blessed relief.
Jesus was a true Man, who on occasion shed some
         tears,
So we can Believe He cares, and when we pray, He
         Hears!
Jesus was A Carpenter, to build things by His skill,
So that He might also build us up, as we seek out
         God's Will.
Jesus was One who did Good, Moved by the Compassion
         He had,
And by it, He helped many, and lifted up the sad.
Jesus was a Teacher, who said, "Let not your Hearts
         troubled be,
For if you believe in God, Believe also in me!"
Jesus was a Sacrifice, The Lamb of God slain from
         this world's start,
Our one and only means of Hope, Who cleanses and
         uplifts the heart.
Jesus was all these things and more, And Jesus is
         today,
         A Savior,
         A King
         And High Priest,
         The One and Only Way!

So dear Friend so hurting, Find your all and all in
        Him today,
"Through Christ I can do all things," And for you,
        in His Name, I'll pray.

David I knew this, and I've read this, but never quite put them together like this! You've painted a newness with words that have been around!

WOW! Thank you, thank you, thank you!

David; Jesus has given you so many gifts. This poem, that is so beautiful, says that you are truly a comforter and compassionate healer of hearts. I know, He 's the healer, but He does that through our hands, and hearts and voices. Today He's using your voice to heal the broken hearted and you, dear friend, heeded His call and did it with your gifts and with love. I can hear His voice saying to you, "well done, good and faithful servant". Thank you, David, that you are so open to His love! Ellie
