Another good one came across my email. Some of you I'm sure have it, this is for those who don't! This is so true and shame on us! Funny how simple it is for people to trash God and then wonder why the world's going to hell. Funny how we believe what the newspapers say, but question what the Bible says. Funny how everyone wants to go to heaven provided they do not have to believe, think, say, or do anything the Bible says. Or is it scary? Funny how someone can say "I believe in God" but still follow Satan (who, by the way, also "believes" in God). Funny how you can send a thousand 'jokes' through e-mail and they spread like wildfire, but when you start sending messages regarding the Lord, people think twice about sharing. Funny how the lewd, crude, vulgar and obscene pass freely through cyberspace, but the public discussion of Jesus is suppressed in the school and workplace. FUNNY, ISN'T IT? Funny how someone can be so fired up for Christ on Sunday, but be an invisible Christian the rest of the week. Are you laughing? Funny how when you go to forward this message, you will not sent it to many on your address list because you're not sure what they believe, or what they will think of you for sending it to them. Funny how I can be more worried about what other people think of me than what God thinks of me. Are you thinking? <*\\\>< There's only two ways you can go... Thank you for sharing that, Dove! The part that says "Funny how I can be more worried about what other people think of me than what God thinks of me". That really hit home with me... now I will concentrate more on what God rather than concentrate on what others think! "To the world you may be one person, but to one person you may be the world" |

that definitely got me thinking all right - i was actually sent this before but reading it again was such a good reminder that God needs to be our primary priority, and all else will fall into place. Man, there are some real truths here which we are just too scared to share - i'm glad you did - bless you sweetie. |

Thank you all for being so honest. It made me stop and think as well. It is so true that we care more what others think, than what God does. We don't always think twice of speaking about a friend, but we DO think twice about who were talking to God about. And to think that we have the biggest protector standing up for us and we still are afraid. We have one of the most powerful beings standing behind us, ready to fight with us, and for us. And we still cower? Psalms 91:4-7 He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall by thy shield and buckler. 5)Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day: 6)Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness: nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday. 7)A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand: but it shall not come nigh thee. |
