(The following is an unsolicited, but glowing testimony about the Spiritual Journeys Forum)

I just love writing poems
And I love all my poetry friends,
They are kind and encouraging
To spur me on, to greater ends.

I love how we can speak a message
In a way, that others will notice,
That can be clothed in fine imagery
Or stylized form,(don't we know this!)

I feel a true kindred of souls
Of this place, as where I belong,
It gives me much to look forward to
And fills my heart with verse and song.

I feel like I've been led here
To speak and be spoken to,
To glorify my Lord and Savior
Upholding what's right and true!

We have here a microcosm
A divergence of Diversity,
Yet in Love's Spirit of Helpfulness
We promote gentle Unity.

And through this wonderful meeting place
In each others lives we are sharing,
As we experience life's challenges
We support each with true caring.

I've said it before many times
I hope you don't weary of my saying,
To me, this Forum is "Home, sweet home"
For you all, and it, I'll keep praying.

Thanks to those who have made it possible
And for all who keep it alive,
As a Sanctuary of Sacred Verse
To help us all thrive and survive.

Continue to write your inspiring lines
Which share your troubles and treasures,
And touch other Hearts, as you reach out with Love
According to God's good pleasures.

From each of you, I draw some strength
And believe me, by You, I've been Blessed,
Thank God I can be a part of this--
Yes this Forum, which to me, is the Best!

Well said. I find the forum a blessing too. I started out in a different forum. But I realized that most of my better poems are religious in nature and didn't fit well elsewhere.

David, you've hit a nerve of how I feel about this place too! I think many more feel this way also! I didn't have a place either to feel like I fit and share. This has truly been a blessing and I can't say it enough either. To be able to share faith through our words, to reach out and be able to touch others through a computer is such a blessing!

Most of my stuff is spiritual and I feel inspired by God, all of them! And to be able to share those with others is what I prayed for, to be able to make a difference.

Many thanks to God and Ron for making that happen, and all of you too.

How true your tribute rings for me and I'm sure each other member. This place where open feelings pour without fear of rejection, is truly a warm, secure grouping of believers reaching to understand each other and offer uplifting help where needed. At times just venting our feelings to a willing listener, is medicine to the soul. Thank God for writing this wonderful piece echoing the gratitude of all.

I had spent so much time this past year with my sister, that when she passed away, I needed a place to find peace again, a place I could wrap myself around, a place like this, were the Lord can work, heal, rebuild, and this is just a place, thank you for writting, just how I feel.

Thank you all for your comments--in a positive way about this forum. I was much like many of you, whose peotry was more about the spiritual, biblical concerns which is probably need more regularly perhaps on some of the other forums, but I felt out of place-seeking not only a place I could share a spiritual message & concerns--but one where I knew that they wouldn't be met with groans or geers, but grace & cheers. THI IS THE PLACE I PRAYED FOR! Ain't God GOOD!!!
Thanks for showin & sharing in His goodness-and promoting His glory in a meaningful & worthwhile way.
GOD BLESS YOU ALL, (and hopefully, others through our words of Faith, Hope & Love)

I would hope no one would ever groan or jeer your poetry in any other forum! This is a wonderful tribute to this place. You must give some credit also to WhtDove..she asked for a spiritual forum and Ron, wisely, thought it a good enough idea to create this.. so thanks to WhtDove! Keep writing..and a special note: We have 'lurkers' here at Passions. Those who have registered but do nothing but read. So you touch the loves of many, not just those that respond to your post!

David; This is incredible. You manage to speak for all of us here. I know you speak for me personally. This place and, most of all, the wonderful, spiritfilled friends here, are an incredible gift to me. Whtdove said that she had no place to share her spiritual poetry before and neither did I.

David, your poetry has been a blessing to this forum. There is a unity here that is very special. I have felt it in friends reaching to others who are struggling. I have felt it in praise. Truly, this forum has been blessed to have so many wonderful hearts coming together in one place. Beautiful poem my friend.
