THE TRIAL

In the Chamber of the High Priest,
they tempted him to lie,
and in his own words they sentenced him to die.
They bound the hands that served the call,
when morning light appeared,
to Pilate's judgment hall they lead,
Jesus, the one they feared.

And Pilate said,("aren't thou the one, the leader of the Jew's?),
the one so many have tried to serve,
they say you brought to them good news.
I find this man has done no wrong,
cried Pilate to the Mob!
What shell I do to please this crowd,
and end this awful job.

Release Barabarus to our midst,
the crowd, they did cry,
give to us the Christ and King,
so he can be crusfied.
So Pilate weakened to the call,
and he did that very thing,
with Purple Robe they clothed our Lord,
and with Thorns, crowned him King of Kings.

I know my sin caused His conviction.

What would we have done? I am so glad he chose to die for me and my sins, My life would be so empty with out him in it, because he lives in me I can be free to be me, thanks for your comment

Thank you Sandy, for sharing that crucial scene in the Lord's Earthly life & death with us, we cannot be reminded too much the extremes Jesus went to save us, and the extremes sinful man will go to further his own or the devils agenda.
