Seven gifts a week,
Twenty-four gifts a day,
What shall I do with all these things
The Good Lord has brought my way?

Seven Days a week, as in Creation
Twenty-four hours each day, I've been giv'n,
Thus are there ample Opportunities--
Can't say,"Don't have time!" for livin'.

The question is how will I use it--
Those 168 hours each week?
Will I squander it to uselessness
Or Redeem it, as God's will I seek?

Oh there are so many choices
But many roads lead to dead ends,
Lord, give the wisdom to rightly choose
My time usage and my friends.

For friends are both Gifts and Gift-Helpers
To help enrich life and Uplift,
Ennobling us to better lives
In making good use of God's gifts.

Twenty-four gifts a day
And seven gifts a week,
Bless us Lord, in Time's management
As Your Perfect Gifts we seek.

HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY DAVID!  Ellie is right you know, you give us such a gift with your poetry. Certainly is a poem to make you stop and think what you do with your time...I am feeling guilty here...hehee
Not enough time spent in God's word. Thank you David, have a great day!

 In the time we've known
That we each are a part of one another
We've lost as much as we have won...
And as our lives have grown
We have found that it only brings us pain
To hang on to the things that we have done...

Just great!  Who can't relate to the subject of time, and the inspiration to spend it more wisely?  Thank you, so much!
