What good is Your truth
If we all believe in lies?
What good is Your light
If we all close our eyes?

What good is salvation
If we wish not to be cleansed?
What good is Your mercy
If we cling to our sins?

Why did You come here
And offer Your grace
To those who reject You
And spit in Your face?

You who were innocent
You who were pure
You were bound by our sins
How could You endure?

When I think of Your love
My heart fills with shame
That all of my wrongs
Were stamped with Your name

My Father, You are
The ultimate King
And to be in You service
Is to gain everything.

I think this is a perfect example of a poem of a christian poet.  It flows, it makes sense, easy to read. And a wonderful message for christians and non-christians alike.

WOW! This will make you stop and think! I love it!  Awesome to think that he loves his children so much, that he could offer his grace and forgiveness, even after what they/we did to him.

Which way is right for you,
Stop and softly ask yourself,

WOW!!!  Now this is what I call a powerful poem. It flows so beautifully.  Clear, concise and to the point.  NO mistaking it's meaning.

GREAT!!
You really have a way with the words!
I often feel like I'm not worth His grace and yet He loves us, His children so much, even me! You put that in words so beautifully! He really has blessed you with a wonderful gift!

Fantastic!  We often talk of God's unconditional love for us, but contemplating Job, beset with so many problem of such magnatude, really makes us aware of unconditional love from our perspective to better appreciate the awesomeness of God's.

You hit the nail on the head- and said it very well--I join with my colleagues to thank you for a worthy poem with a timely message.
