Do you have faith my son?
Yes Father, I do.
Then why are you so sad?
Because the mountain would not move.

But the mountain did move child.
Only not in the way you think.
You sought to test your God!
So, when I saw you blink,

I moved the mountain to the sea,
Then brought it back again.
I know you have great faith child,
But do not succumb to sin.

For the wages of sin is death!
And what a waste that would be.
To have the power to move a mountain,
Only to lose your soul to the sea.

A sea of fire and hell!
Truly, it’s a place you do not want to be.
Keep true to the narrow path child.
And have faith in Me.

WooHoo... I found it...So what do you think Kari..?

Which way is right for you,

well, I definitely 'dug' it.  It is funny how we often say that the lord works in mysterious ways but we find that so hard to remember when he actually does.

excellent poem...very true expressions of belief...and a good lesson and reminder of how we do tend to test our faith.
thanks for sharing this...glad you found it!!! So what do you think Kari...(smile)
take care, janet marie

did you know--you made it seem like time was standing still...
and I felt---fascination...though I only knew you then--just casually...
then you slowly turned and smiled in my direction...
and my heart gave me away"....

Majestic this is beautiful and a wonderful lesson not to test God.  I like it a lot!

Just be glad I'm not your child! *evil grin*

Great poem.  So foolishly we try  to bargain with or test God.
