I writing this to say "Thank You" to all my Passions Family and Friends.  And that's what I consider you all! Michael posted a message in our forum requesting prayers and words of encouragment for me. For those that read Michael's message, you know I've suffered a miscarriage and was really going through. So many of you responded with not just words of encouragement but words of comfort and support.  Some of you even shared with me your own pain and hurt concerning this subject.  Your emails have meant so much to me! They've given strength and courage to make it through the day to day struggles and battles they I'm fighting. Both mentally, physically, and most of all spiritually. There was a time, and still sometimes now, when I just want to throw my hands up and say "I give up". But at that very moment, I receive an email of encouragement, strength, and love. Yes, Love! It's not just the words that are written, but it's the sincerity that comes with it. You're not just sending just because, you're sending because you sincerely care! And I appreciate each and every one of you. I am sincerely grateful for the friends that I have made here at passions.  The hurt and pain is still fresh but I am dealing with it. I'm striving to continue in my walk with the Lord and press forward. I know I still have a great work to do for HIM!  Inspite of the events that have transpired caused by others, I am determined to walk in the authority of the Lord! The gift of a Christlike heart was given to me by God, so I will continue to love those that spitefully hurt me or cause me harm.
I have tried to write so that I can post them in our forum, but I still find it hard to do so. My hope and prayer is that real soon I can continue to bless you guys with my writings. I know that this is one of my gifts too! And it pains me, frustrates me when I can't effectively write. I hope to join you guys soon.  I am still reading poems that have been submitted, so keep them coming. Continue to keep me in your prayers, as I will keep each of you in mine.
Once again, I thank you, I appreciate you, I'm grateful to you, and most of all I love you!!! Thanks for being my friends!  Thanks for being my family.
Love always,
Shirleeah Storey

We are happy to hear from you again, our dear Friend. And it is good to know that despite the many hardships you are going through, that you are still fighting the Good Fight of Faith.   God bless you to be comforted & strengthened more & more each day!

In the end the heart shall overcome...

In the heart there is sadness
In the heart there are tears
In the heart there is gladness
That shall overcome the fears

Tis true Lord of the Morning
That in my heart i'm mad
But I shall fight the good fight
Knowing your love, I'm glad

Striving to do your will
Which I know to be your desire
Get ye behind me Satan
Or ye shall face my Lords ire.

My prayers and love you have!

Shirl,

I'm glad you're still hanging in there!  Don't try and write if you can't. It will come so don't push it, when it's time. Hey, some things in my life took me 9 yrs to write about it. It will come when ready!
This place has been a blessing to almost all I know! Tis truly a family of friends. We're all here for eachother and we pull together when one is needed and that is so awesome!
I thank God for this place for us!
Bless you Hon, and keep that chin up, and come back to us when you feel ready, we'll be waiting!  You will stay in my prayers!

there is no need.

Shirl, I really don't know what to say right now.  However, over the last two weeks I feel like you been here forever. This place is truly a blessing and God has brought us all together for a reason.  Each one of us here has our own strengths and weaknesses.  As we fellowship together in the word of God it helps us grow in him and also helps us get by in our problems that we face in life.  I cannot tell you how much you mean to me, along with everyone else in this forum.

Thank you for being there when I needed you. I to consider you, and everyone else in this forum, part of my family

Shirleeah,
I am so glad you have entrusted us as family and friends, especially in such a critical moment in your life.  This is truly one reason I am so thankful for this forum.  It is very important that we, as children of God reach to each other when we see someone down or suffering.  It's very easy to lose focus on God these days, I think this forum serves a great purpose to help keep that from happening.
I am continuing to hold you in prayer.  Thank you for the post, and keeping us all informed.  May your suffering be shortened and days of joy find you soon. We will always be here for you.

Michael

shirleeah; I'm only a brand new member and I just realized what has happened with your loss of the baby. I lost my first baby when she was only three months old. We now have six beautiful children and at time of Michelle's death we were told we would never have a healthy child. I just kept holding on to God for dear life and trusting Him even when I felt very angry at Him. His promises are new everyday, so, I know He'll see you through this dark time. My prayers are with you!

I just wanted to say a big thank you for the heartfelt email you sent me.  I've been getting over some sort of infection in my ear and neck, and I haven't been online much, but I will sit down probably tonight, and email you back.  I just wanted to let you know I haven't forgotten your words.  Thank you, and be strong.  SIncerely,  Gen

sweetie i'm glad too that you consider us your friends and family - keeping us aware of how you are doing truly shows your trust in us.  You are definitely in our prayers, and i'm glad to hear that you're pressing on for God despite what other things are going on your life.  If we keep our focus on Jesus, the rest will fall into place just nicely.  You are in His precious hands Shirleeah and not only is He looking out for you, all of us here are too.  Bless you my friend, may you find peace and strength in His love.
Love you.  Mirjam.
