I know I've said this
many times before,
but before you pass judgement
please listen.

This evening at church
many things went on,
but through it all
I felt Jesus' hand
on my shoulder.

I knew it was Him
with no doubt in my mind.

I clasped my hands together
and bowed my head.
I felt Jesus put His hands
over mine like He was
praying with me.

I felt what seemed like chills
run through my body.

I then raised my head
and lifted my good arm
high into the air.
I could still feel Jesus
holding onto it
reassuring me
that He would not leave me.

God spoke to me tonight
and I know I've said this before,
but I am through
trying to end my life.

God does have
some great plan for me
and I for one
am curious
to find out what it is.

I know I have said this before
but it feels different now.
I believe
I can make it this time!

Melaine,

I certainly believe you can make it too, with the plans that God has for you. I really think you can succeed! Go for it!  [edit: wrong face, oops!]

AMEN! God does have great plans for you! Just take one step at a time and don't stress over it! Sometimes we are our own worst enemy! Beautiful poem, Melanie! Very beautiful!

I'm heartwarmed to find this posting.  We all have times we feel forsaken.  That's when we have to reach into our storeroom of faith, or tell a loved one our faith is weakening.  As you reach out to uplift others, you'll find your burdens are lifted as well.  God bless.

I believe God has a plan for you too, Melanie, otherwise you woud have left us long ago.  I do believe we all go through things, suffer pain for a reason.  What you have been through as an individual can be used in understanding others who do not know God, and or are suffering similiarly to what you have.  That understanding might be their bridge to Jesus.

I can't tell you how happy I am to see you return.  Welcome home, "Child of God".

Glad to see you back!  Glad to hear things are looking up for you.  We all deserve a second chance, I believe this is yours.  Don't waste it, make the best of it!

Melanie, time will tell! But this is music to my ears my dear. I've praying that God touch you or speak to you or something to let you know He's there!  I'm really glad to hear this sweetie, as I'm sure God is too!  He does have a plan for you, and He will guide you along that walk. May you live for Him as He did for you!  God bless you sweetie!!!!

You may have said it before but keep on saying it along with Philipians 4:13,  I CAN DO ALL THINGS THROUGH CHRIST WHICH STRENGTHENS ME!  You can, and by God Grace working with your faith, You Will!
  God bless you Friend!   David
