This is not what "I" had in mind to write, but maybe it is what God had in mind to say instead!

This life that God has given you
Is more than just mere fate,
For all the precious moments
He took to form and create.

He has a plan for you ya know
Something we may not see.
It seems He's watching over you
Things are not as you want them to be.

My friend, my sweet, dear Melanie
This plan I hope you see,
Cause God is watching over you
He's planned out your destiny.

But when you try and take your life
I'm sure God stands and cries,
Because the evil ones interferred
And made you believe their lies.

Dear Melanie, what God has done
To keep you here on earth,
To fulfill the purpose that
He sent you for, from birth.

I know it seems to you sometimes
That God is just not there,
That you cry out to Him
And it seems He's not aware.

But I can see that He is there
He keeps you under His wings,
With all His protective power
And He sees you through these things.

When we try, and take our life
We mess up what God has planned.
He's shown you He's behind you
And will help you take a stand.

For your life is very precious
So much we can't comprehend,
He's saved you more than once my friend
When His angels He did send!

I know that He has plans for you
He'll guide you along the way,
He said He'd never leave us Mel
Not even for a day!

You know that I am here for you
As well as God is too,
He's given many friends
That care so much for you!

I'm really glad He crossed our paths
I know it's for good reason.
He shall work through both of us,
Until it comes our time or season.

I love ya Melanie!
God Bless you Sweetie
I'm here for you whenever you need me, you know that!

You are not a pain to me, either, Melanie! Just take a few minutes, relax, close your eyes and imagine the biggest hug in the world wrapping around you from all your friends here at Passions! ((((HUGS))))
And do the same thing every time you start getting down on yourself! And know that His hugs for you are even bigger!! And my email is also available whenever you want to talk!
Love ya!

Beautiful poem, Rebecca.  I can recall a very similiar situation as this with someone very close to me.  Sometimes it's hard to reach the person and sometimes you might not think you've made a difference.  Sometimes you get a call in the middle of the night 2 years later with a thank you.  Never lose faith, God works on people in mysterious ways, and God knows the needs of His children.  I am keeping you both in my prayers.

Melanie, you can call it what you like, but friends are there for each other no matter what!  You worry me, but I wouldn't call it a pain in the butt! HUGS

Denise, she has many people here that care for her greatly. Thanks for letting her know.

Michael thank you! I don't really know what to say. I think God has brought all this together for a reason. This forum, and all these people!  Whatever he has planned in our lives I certainly hope we'll accomplish it!  Thanks Hugs!

Rebecca,
I read this and read it again and again.  I know what you say is true about God having plans for me and everything else, but it is just so hard. When i read the lines " But when you try and take your life  I'm sure God stands and cries,"  I can just picture that, and I know you are probably right.  And I also know you are right that the evil one has interfered and has made me believe his lies, but his lies are so much easier to believe then the truth (if that makes sense).  Yes, it seems God is not there (a lot of the times), but if you see it, maybe He is.  I do not see how my life is so precious, how anyone can care, how anyone can even stand me, and most definitely I do not see how anyone can like any of my poems.  I know (I think) that God has a plan for me, but WHAT IS IT??  I also know that you are here for me (as well as many others) and for that I am truly grateful, but like I have said many times to many people, I don't want to burden others with my petty problems.  But I do know that you are here whenever I need you, thank you!!  Now if this reply isnt long enough, just tell me, I can continue LoL, or else I can just go clean out my toilet with your hubby's toothbrush =)  Thank you for this poem though, it means a lot!!

Melanie, I'm glad you've read it over and over again! No one said it was gonna be easy sweetie. As for God standing there and crying, I'm sure He really does, and that's what the picture represents.
Yes, it makes very good sense to me, it's always easier to believe what he (satan) hands you Melanie! It's easier than fighting for the truth and standing up! I really do understand that very well. When I started to believe he made it very hard on me, and everything started going wrong. I thought to myself it was much easier on me when I didn't believe, but I didn't give up either!

God made you strong Melanie, and you have to fight, and He will be there with you every step of the way! Look at all the stuff you've been through already! When you were in it I'm sure the thoughts of how will I get through this, or how can I deal with this cross your mind.  Well, you are here and you have made it, and God has helped. It may be hard to deal with things in life but we have made it through some tough times!

Yes, I do see Him there Melanie! How can I not? So many times you've tried to end it, and it just hasn't happened. Everything coming together in church for you, the wreck you were in. Every breath you take is a gift!
You're life is precious because you are a child of God! He put you here for a purpose and you'll just need to trust Him, that He will have you do what He needs when it's time!
Melanie, you don't think very highly of yourself Hon, and I've been there too!  I still struggle with it. You are a warm and caring person with many talents and I know you choose not to see that, but there are many that do see it! For what you are on the inside makes you precious to me, to others to God!
My friend, I don't know what God's plan is for you, but He does have one. I don't know what He has planned for me either, but I try to do by the moment, by the day. Live for today, not tomorrow, not next year, not yesterday, or 10 yrs ago. But today! If God showed us what our future held, or what it is that we were supposed to do, we probably wouldn't go through with it. If He showed us that our job was to die on the cross, from the moment we were born we knew this, that we would be tortured and spit on, and nailed to a cross, how many of us would have the guts to proceed with everyday life? Everyday is something to shape us, to form us, to make us stronger. We all have seasons, some of those we don't enjoy, but we have them.
It may be pruning season, but in the end of our struggles Melanie, we will have great reward! Our harvest will come, but we need to work for it also. We can't have one without the other!
I'm greatful for our friendship also Melanie and you have to stop seeing yourself as a burden. There are many people out there who care enough to try and help! I do not see you as laying a burden on me, nor do I view you as a burden! We are our own worst enemy sometimes. There is nothing more Satan wants you to believe Melanie, than that you are worthless, no good, and should not be here, and a burden. That is Satan working, and he can be very good at it, IF we let him.  God has given you power over the enemy, over all evil Melanie. But it's up to you to take hold of that power and use it! We need to but believe and ask and He will do!

You know in the NT...something came across to me one day that made me really stop and think. People asking for healings and such things as that, and He said many times to them, according to your faith were you healed. So how much faith do we have when were asking something? According to your faith! Hmmn...if we already have in our mind that He will not help, nor hear, before we even ask, What do you think will happen?

All right, you think mine is long enough?  hehe...I could go on too!
ROFL@ that toothbrush, I had forgotten all about that! Now get busy with those toilets! LOL Good thing I wasn't drinking my coffee!

Your welcome Melanie, but like I said, it is not what I intended to write. So God had something to say!
Lots of Love and HUGE HUGS!!!

Well, I think this is absolutely beautiful - the poem, the fabulous graphics....what a beautiful picture of our God....he does care.  He must surely get frustrated when we give up, like we all do sometimes.  Life is a constant learning....a constant struggle.  I like to think of it as - in nature, there are seasons.  Springtime, summer, fall, and winter.  There is a purpose for every season.  The trees and flowers need the winter, to rest and not bloom - so that in springtime, they can shoot out their new petals and shine!  To me, when I'm going through a hard time, I like to think of it as my "winter".....and I look ahead, knowing that someday soon, I'll grow and bloom from my trials. You are always in my thoughts Echo, we don't talk much anymore, but I care about you nonetheless. Thank you Whtdove, for such a heartfelt piece to her.

Your sincerety rings in these lines and Perhaps your writing of encouragement and support are a part of Gods plan for you.  So often we think if we haven't been involved in setting up a foundation or traveliong to some remote missionary field, we haven't found a purpose in life.  God only wants us to do what we can with what we have where we are.  And that includes All of us sinners, Echo.  When you're putting yourself down, you're insulting God.  He does not make junk!  All of His creations are beautiful and wonderful, although we too often don't act like it.  Wht Dove hit the nail on the head...it's not Gods love that's lacking, but our awareness or appreciation of it.  God bless.

Femme thanks so much for your warm reply! I like how you look at that "winter."  Without our trials and suffering we would not know joy, or the pleasure of blooming!  God bless ya Femme!

Thank you Mom (sandgrain).  It is not Him who leaves us, but us who leaves Him!

I hear love's echo in all the replies above. Just want to extend it also. Echo you are in my prayers, and as someone said above. God doesn't make junk, and I will add to that, no problem is too little or too big for God. He cares about everyone.

I just want you to know that I have been where you are and Jesus picked me up and healed me and gave the peace I craved and He promises to do the same for you. You only have to believe this a little tiny bit, like the mustard seed. That's all He asks. It really is true that you are His beautiful beloved child! My prayers are with you!
