Dear Jesus,
You fill my cup of life with your love.
The feeling that I get when I know,
Your love for me is just so.

But at the end of the day,
I feel like I tipped over,
I lost that feeling of fullness,
Your love.
For I have sinned.
I pray to you,
And then I realize,
Your love is unconditional.
Even if I sin and forsake you,
I know that you shall forgive.
Your love is truly unconditional.

Jer another wonderful thought provoker.
His love certainly is unconditional. And not to compare Him with a dog, but if we look at a dog's behavior, they love us no matter what too!

Where there is faith,
there is love.
Where there is love,
there is peace.
Where there is peace,
there is GOD.
Where there is GOD,
there is no need.

Thank you ladies for the wonderful comments.  I have just been spitting out words like crazy!  I feel like God it giving me the words so I may use them to help others that don't or choose not to know him.  Great feeling though.  I feel him working inside of me.

I'll try.  I'll pray to God and tell him you need a little bit of what he gave me.

Indeed, Jer, God'd love is unconditional.  He doesn't expect us to be perfect...nor should we expect ourselves to be.  He knows our heart.

jer you know what this reminded me of?  A speech by this guy at the church down by the university i go to - he said that there is nothing we can do to make God love us any more than he does, and absolutely NOTHING to make Him love us any less.  Isn't that a cool thought?  Because you're right - he forgives our sins if we are ready to confess them.  What a great poem Jeremy!
