For what does darkness have with light?
Jesus asked this question,

After seeing and hearing,
I also must make the same suggestion,

You speak words of filth,
With the same tounge that you praise God,

Some places of conversation where angels
won't even trod,

Come out and be ye separate,
Was what Christ asks with love,

So every believer is to be pure and bring honor,
To be a Godly example just as our heavenly father above,

We cannot serve two masters,
We will either love the one or hate the other,

It is time as Christians,
To give an account for eachother,

Let your yey be yey, and your ney be ney,
With God...it is black or white,

So may I ask you,
What does Darkness have with light?

Nothing...For you are either one or the other,
Serve God or serve Satan,

You can't serve them both together!

there is love.
Where there is love,
there is peace.
Where there is peace,
there is GOD.
Where there is GOD,
there is no need.

I am glad that I can be among the first to respond to your poem.  As a minister,I recognize your reference to many scriptures which you have incorporated into your poetic statement--and that is GOOD!  And the message is good-even important, Light & darkness can NOT co-exist, because Light dispells darkness--that is, if the Light is not overcome by the darkness. I would suggest that you give a little more attention to your spelling, so it does not distract from the good things you have going on in your work.  God bless you, David

White Dove:God just laid this on my heart, and I fell it is time to be bold for him and stand on the truth!

David:Praise God that you are doing his work as a minister! And 90% of my poetry is composed as I post, and I do it quickly...so I do have alot of words that are spelled incorrectly... My words may have been mispelled but they are from the heart and God uses the true heart..thanks for letting me know! God Bless!

Michael: I felt strongly about this message because so many people take God lightly and Don't fear him, When we strattle the fence, it confuses people who we are...therefore not being a good witness to others, and God is not the author of confussion! Satan is!:I felt so bad for posting my first and last adult poem in adult poetry, that God convicted me of it....God told my heart that it is wrong...that I can't be both, So I never posted there again...and I never will.

Your poem is so true. "You can't serve to masters. You'll love one and hate the other." You definetly know the Word (BIBLE).
It is time to be bold for the Lord and He is calling all of His children to take a stand and do just that.  I'm glad you chose to accept the calling and be obedient to His voice by writing and submitting all that He gives you to do so. "I'm proud and honored just to be able to read this." You are a true soldier for the Lord.  Keep up the great work!

As I read this one again today, it serves as a great reminder. Gave me quite the kick, and I guess I needed it.

To speak boldy and not sugar coat it, sometimes is just what we need!

So much strength and truth in your words and I am so glad to find you in here.  I find alot of wisdom in your words and I do know that you speak with words not unlike that of what Jesus himself spoke with and you have penned it well to bring the message loud and clear to us.  Wonderful read for me tonight.

Thanks for the friendly comments and encouragement, but God gets the glory!
I have been letting God purge my heart, and my soul. To cleanse me of all unrighteousness. I have failed him so many times, but he still loves me and forgives me, we are to love others and forgive with that same love. How much more am I if I ask for my father to forgive me, yet I cannot let go and forgive? and he forgives 70x7, so should I,
For love covers a multitude of sins....
