I started to write this poem for two friends that were headed to Spain for a semester.  I was initially intending to go back and insert lines but I took a look at what I had spaced out and noticed that it already flowed.  I don't write much rhyming poetry so don't laugh too hard.

May the blessings of God be with you
as you travel down this road

Know that the life lessons you will learn
are worth far more than even gold

May courage, peace and joy be with you
     through every flight

And know that nothing, absolutely nothing
can overcome God and His might.

Did you ever read about a frog who dreamed of being a king, and then became one

I am not laughing,Felix, I'm smiling---at the happy positive-and faith projecting thoughts that you have shared in this brief but thoughtful poem.  You did good! Keep it up!

Sounds like a beautiful going away blessing, that anyone would be happy to receive. Very nice.

Seems like something to write on a slip of paper and place in the luggage of ones we love!

Nothing to laugh at at all here, Felix.  I do hope you will continue to write some.  Indeed, nothing can overpower God's might.

As someone who traveled abroad during college, I feel this poem briefly speaks eloquently to anyone who may be heading away from home, far or not so far.  Thanks for sharing it.

Not laughing either... Just smiling as hard as possible.  Keep up the great work.  You can tell it comes straight from your heart.
