I wrote four Christmas poems this year. And out of the four, I thought that this one was the best. I hope y'll like it.

For Christmas, I got a gold necklace
and a rolex watch for my bare wrists.
I also got an Armani navy-blue suit
and a new pair of black-suede shoes.
But despite all the wonderful gifts I've recieved,
I still remembered to get down on my knees
and thank the Lord for making all this possible for me.
Lord, I love you with all my might.
Your grace and your love is truly out of sight.
So when it comes to materialistic things, I'm not so apalled
because, life provided by my holy saviour God,
is the greatest gift of all.

amen!  working retail has really killed christmas this year, witnessing the stress of christmas shopping and the emphasis on needing to buy gifts for others.  I'm so thankful that Christmas means much more, and that the greatest gift indeed is the gift God gave us, his son.  Hope you have an awesome day celebrating the miracle of His birth 2000 years ago!!!

It definately seems that retail and other people take the Christ out of Christmas.  I hate crabby people this time of year. It is nice to know someone hasn't forgotten what it is all about.

I have to say you truly know what's important! Not the material things of this world, but the one thing that will carry to the next.  Stay focused and be encouraged! I loved it!! "God's Grace and Mercy is sufficient.!"
