Truths hidden
from the light of reason,
without eyes I see,
I breathe
into a trumpet
I hear not
the music that comes-
heart fulfilled,
I feel the vibration
as it slices sky and sea,
o vast
and mighty trumpet!

Truths found
where light fails,
existence
is what I see
beyond closed eyes.

I feel love
in truth,
as my hands hold up
the trumpet
my lungs exhale
alone, I shout with joy,
for God
in my dreams.
