This Day of Birth

Little baby in a manger
born to save us all from sin.
gathered round from near and far
people came to let him in.

Continued through the many years
we remember and celebrate
this day of birth.

God gave to us a precious gift
to renew our spirit with his love.
All that's asked in return
for us to honor God above.

Take time to thank him everyday
for guiding you the right way.
Be sure to ask him to take care
of those less fortunate
that they may see relief
come there way.

Most of all on this day
give thanks to God
for bringing you
the joy of children
that fill your heart
and soul with love.

Add to that thanks, we're thankful for you.
The pressures of packing it all in for the holidays, too often leaves us complaining, when we ought to acknowledge how richly blessed we truly are.

There are so many things for us to be thankful for, that's so true. Christmas is a wonderful time to express that thanks, especially for those who appreciate the true meaning of Christmas still. Wonderful reminder, L.D.

Indeed He did give us a precious gift! We have so much to be thankful for!
