I was inspired by a song by Killah Priest called B.I.B.L.E. The spelling out of the Bible or acronym has been used before.

Ever since I was thirteen,
I've made it my routine,
to read the Bible like a was a Sports Illustrated Magazine.
I like to read the Holy Bible
because, it's good for me.
Plus, it's better than T.V.
People need to realize,
that the Bible applies to their lives.
Everyday, I pray to God,
for making my life not as hard.
I'v excepted thr fact that I'm not a sinner
and acknowledgement of that makes me a winnner.
But I try my best not to sin
because, morally my soul won't win.
I try to love everybody to best of my ability,
even my worst enemy.
Every first Sunday of each month, I commit in Communion
because, I know the fact that he died for me is not an lie or an illusion.
Twice a week,
I mentally,
recite the ten commandments,
until I fully understand it.
I've been saved twice,
by Christ
because, the evil used to get in my head like lice.
Now my soul is re-energized
and no longer scrutinized.
And now I'm saved
and thanks to God,
my life is safely out of the grave.
I've been baptized
and had my soul reanalyzed by God.
I go to church,
to sing, clap, learn, and praise him,
for all he is worth.
Remember people, God gave you birth and created the heavens and the universe.
The first shall be last and the last shall be first,
make sure you people, read the Bible
because, it's the basic instructions before leaving earth.

Nate, your words are so strong and so true.
So many people do not realize that the bible applies to life today...or that if they applied it to their lives, how much easier life would become for them. Thank you, and keep in the word, my friend.

Great message Nate! Besides God, His word is eternal. It is all that will last. Any time spent in that word is never wasted time. thank you for sharing this! And it sure is our instructions for here on earth, but also eternally!

Great message. Our Bible is our manual to life! Our sword! Great poem
