Foolish people we are Living drama filled lives forgetting our true selves Always striving for the top What is the top? Looking like everyone else Acting like everyone else? The top, there is no such thing If we would only open our eyes Which are blinded by society We would realize what precious time is being wasted Greedy is what we are Never satisfied, always wanting more Forgetting the man who died for us For you, for me For those who spit on him and threw things at him Hate him as you wish He is waiting for you to come to him Confide in him Foolish person, save yourself Be forgiven for your sins Let him in, Let him in Dark lakes of fire Crying, sadness, loneliness Walking streets of gold Beautiful scenery Happiness, love, joy, laughter It's your choice, your eternity Quit trying, open your eyes You are at the top Let him in foolish one He loves you |
