Oh heavenly father
From up above,
Will you forgive me
And give me the wings of a dove?
So I can soar far away
From all this pain,
And I can find the
Happiness I wish to gain.
I know I have sinned
And walked away from you, Father.
I have noticed though all my sin,
My happiness has grown farther.
There is no greater feeling
Then to feel your high,
That is so pure and true
And washes my sins goodbye.
I'm glad your here
To help me.
You opened a path
That I now can see.

This was terrific! What comes to mind here is that we go through sorrow, but wouldn't know true joy without it. His grace is sufficient. Not always how we think it will be answered but it is always answered.
