Guidance

You desire to trade places
seeing my life
as one more pleasant
seeing my views
as more optimistic.
I walk the same paths
as you
but I get lost
and have to ask for help.
I know the same people
as you
but sometimes
my judgment fails
and I have to ask
for forgiveness.
I have the same beliefs
as you
but I am weaker
and need God's guidance
in my life
each and every minute
of every day.

I Love this message! How very true in our lives. We wander and fall, but ask for His guidance. WE are all in the same boat. What makes us different is we ask for God's help! Excellent!!!

We all need God's guidance in our lives every day, and thankfully He gives us it, even if we don't ask for it, it is just up to us to accept it or not! Great poem!

The Lord definately gives guidance to those willing to listen for it, L.D., and we all certainly could use it, couldn't we? wonderful poem.
