To wake up and exhale the first breath of your spirit from my nostrills.Open your eyes Summer and look at my proud smile,stretch your arms my child so I can bring you out of bed and whisper in your ear how happy i am to see you this new day. Each step I took was like following a unseen shadow, the Spirt of God.Crying for so many souls I did the same soul wich has devoured me. I still hear that cry except its not mine. I thik it may be angels. The same angels I used to laugh and dance with. Oh Lord can you ever forgive me.For some strange reason I need for so many things from love to money to sanity.The power of healing you gave me. This needing feeling is foreign to me.You intrusted me with your word knowing I would stray one day.My knoledge of you can frustrate me because I cant stand the thought of hurting you. But your undieing love keeps my head above water, swimming hard trying to get out of this swamp. I can hear you calling me from the shore.Im trying Lord not hard enough.But soon we will do our victory dance.I can hear them now, singing and praising your glorious name your angels that is.Like a child lost i the forest for days whos foud her father. I remember all these things and more they are etched in my soul and heart I promise God I will never forget only resurect. |
