What Will You Do With Your Gift?
~Marge Tindal~ 1999

I have a gift from God.
I house it in my heart.
It came wrapped in love,
given so I'd never depart.

First He gave his son,
wrapped him in the blood.
His gift gave us all the assurance
to get to Heaven above.

He gave us life,
so that we could do
unto others
as He'd have us to do.

He gave us the perfect gift,
the love within our hearts.
Divine resurrection,
a love that never parts.

To keep the gift He gave me,
would not serve His purpose well.
I must share the gift with others,
to others I must tell.

Tell others about His love.
Tell others of the gift.
Share the love of God,
His love ...
a perfect fit.

Beautiful, Marge. The best gift we could ever receive.

Thank you, WhiteDove.
My 'gift' is too bright to hide.
It shines for others to see.
And I really do believe
God must have given me an Energizer battery !
My love for Him keeps going and going and going.

Wonderful poem, Marge. God has given us the greatest gift of all, hasn't He?

This is great Marge! LoL, the energizer bunny thing made me laugh though, cause every year at Christmas our church has what we call a Living Christmas Tree. Its for the entire valley to come see. And every year during one of the skits we have someone come out dressed as the energizer bunny. It's really cute! But this is definitely a beautiful poem Marge. I myself can not hide or be selfish with my gift. I have to share it and I want to share it...so I do!

Michael - Yes, the greatest gift He gave to us. And we have to share the knowledge of it with others

Echo- The living Christmas tree would surely need an Engergizer bunny! We all have a gift to give to others by sharing God's abundant love.
